So something fun and exciting happened to start off 2017…I was interviewed for TV!
“Swak Na Swak” (Livelihood that Fits) is a TV show in the Philippines that features local entrepreneurs and their businesses. After interviewing my mom about her dessert products a few months back, they showed interest in my business as well. Before I knew it we’ve scheduled a filming day in less than a week after receiving their call!
How has 2017 been working out for ya? I know this is only my first post for the year, but after these fourjam–packedposts in December (each of those was a different link 😉), I took a blogging breather in January to refocus and get some client work done.
Christmas is an insanely hectic time of year…you’ve got to decorate your living space, shop for your loved ones, finish a ton of work in time for the holiday break, get all your videos and blog posts in time for Christmas…(well, that last one’s applicable to me)
That said, I hope you see this video as a Christmas present from me to you (instead of a very late video that came out right smack on Christmas day! 🙈)
For this video, I’ll be sharing a speed animation of how I made the Christmas filter for Hallmark eCards for the GIPHY CAM app!
If you live in a country that experiences autumn, count yourself lucky because it has got to be one of the coziest, most beautiful season!
I was fortunate enough to experience my first (and only) fall a few years ago, and for this video I looked back on those fond memories (plus a couple of reference images) to bring to you this illustration of a house in the fall.
In case you haven’t heard of Casey Neistat, he is this incredibly hard-working YouTuber who posts a vlog on his channel EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
It kind of puts my overdue monthly vlogs to shame, doesn’t it? XD
Casey is actually one of my inspirations behind my A Moment A Day vlog series on my channel! His commitment to his consistently entertaining videos is incredible admirable, and his passion is infectious!
For this video I’ll be sharing a speed illustration and animation of Casey Neistat, with his signature sunglasses and DSLR-topped GorillaPod, riding his Boosted Board through New York city.
The Starving Artist Tag is a collab between YouTube artists Lena Danya, Mira Byler, Tina Yu, Happy Dee, and Katherine Ward, wherein they answer a set of 20 questions about their work, and their artistic journey. I first watched this on Lena Danya’s channel, and I wanted to try it out!
Oddly enough I found it therapeutic to answer these questions on camera, and it help me realize things about myself– even though it meant a ton of editing after! 🙈
Anyway enough blabber! Here’s my Starving Artist Tag video!
